Google Cloud Teams Up with Binance in New Cloud Project

Google Cloud and Binance’s BNB Chain are collaborating to help developers access cloud computing services.

Google Cloud partners with Binance to help startups access cloud services

Most recently, a new partnership between the Binance BDB channel and Google Cloud was announced in a press release. According to this announcement, the cooperation aims, in particular, to promote the development of startups on the Internet and blockchain.

Thus, under this cooperation, the Binance BNB chain will be responsible for providing part of the Google Cloud blockchain projects. They will be supported in the Google for Startups Cloud Paid Program.

A little information

BNB Chain is a “blockchain” that combines two previous Binance chains merged a few months ago. It supports various popular projects such as decentralized exchange PancakeSwap and liquid staking platform Ankr. Even today, the chain supports at least 1300 blockchain applications. This includes DeFi, games, metaverse, and NFT projects.

What are the benefits for the Binance BDB network in this alliance with the Google cloud?

As part of the agreement, Google Cloud will provide mentoring and advanced technical support to projects on the Binance BNB network. But on top of that, the program will also cover access fees. Specifically, it will offer two years of credit for Google’s cloud computing services.

In addition, projects will also have access to on-demand data analysis and encryption services. Here is more specifically what the most recent announcement says. “Projects on the BNB network can now rely on the open, scalable, developer-friendly, secure and resilient Google Cloud cloud infrastructure.” However, Google Cloud’s goal is to have its data centers run entirely on carbon-free energy by 2030. In fact, this is where the promise of sustainability comes from.

Other Google Blockchain Projects?

Indeed, Google Cloud has already entered into other blockchain partnerships such as Binance. These include Hedera, Ontology, Theta Network, EOS, Polygon, Dapper Labs and Bakkt. In most cases, Google Cloud acts as a block producer. However, for this particular blockchain project, Google Cloud acts as a cloud service provider. However, according to the data received, Google will not serve BNB Chain as directly as these other projects. However, this detail does not prevent this partnership between Binance and Google from being truly meaningful. And this, especially if he manages to implement a wide range of blockchains in Google Cloud.
