The new Android 13 beta 3 brings a number of new features to Pixel devices, as well as a number of performance improvements and bug fixes.
Today we are releasing the third beta of Android 13, which brings us to the final phase of our cycle, where we will focus on improvements and performance. In Android 13, we build on our core themes of privacy and security, developer productivity, and support for tablets and large screens.
There’s a lot to explore in Android 13, from privacy features like the new notification permission and photo picker, to productivity features like themed app icons and perapp language support, as well as modern standards like HDR video. Bluetooth LE Audio and MIDI. 2.0 via USB. We’ve also expanded on the new updates we’ve made to 12L, giving you better tools to take advantage of the more than 270 million largescreen tablets and devices in active use.
Beta 3 brings stability to the Android 13 platform, meaning that developer APIs and all the ways you interact with apps are now final. We are grateful for all the feedback you shared to help us get to this point! Developers are now focused on compatibility and quality testing as they prepare their applications for official release at the end of the year!
