Behind his counter, the manager of a bar at the Emile Zola crossroads in Grasse did more than just serve coffee and cocktails to his customers. He also offered them cannabis.
This was observed by members of the Department for Combating Crime (BOP) on September 18 while monitoring an establishment suspected of harboring drug trafficking.
First, they checked one of the patrons as he left the bar. Thus, he confessed that he bought the cannabis resin from the owner. Once inside, BAC agents arrested the defendant before getting their hands on an accurate scale, 189 grams of cannabis resin, as well as 595 euros in cash.
Initially placed, the man was brought to appear immediately with a crime warrant before the Grasse court. The case has been adjourned to October 24. Until then, he remains imprisoned.
