Gym’Yaz Multiboxe will hold a Dark Battle gala concert in Istra on Saturday – Maritima.Info

After the first successful December gala in Saint-Martin-de-Crau, the Yaz Multiboxe Gym is organizing a grand martial arts show this Saturday at the Halle polyvalente in Istra. The program includes Thai boxing, kickboxing, K1 with a dozen amateur and professional fights. The headliners were local residents Ismael Fajri and Feriel Berrahma, champions of France.

“The goal is to get Istrien to discover our disciplines. We have already organized the championship in November in La Galle, but it will be different. It will be a real spectacle.” On this occasion, Yaz Bussaha, President of Yaz Multiboxe Gym, wants to showcase the high level of K1, Kickboxing and Muay Thai, as well as being able to “make our youth fight, who don’t often get the opportunity to box at a gala.”

Talented young people, Gym Yaz has a lot of them, for example, 9-year-old Liam Santiago Cortes, who just became the French champion in K1. He will also fight on Saturday. “This is a sport that gives confidence. I liked him right away,” says the child, who hopes to one day become a world champion. He hopes to follow the lead of Ismael Fajri, a local star who won two French titles and the K-1 World Cup last year. For Yaz Bussaa, “Having such a champion is exciting, we have young people who follow us and get results.”

On Saturday, Ismael Fajri will fight his second professional fight after losing his first during the Saint Martin de Cros gala: “Istres is my city, I am proud to organize this new gala here. We’re going to show the whole city.” what we are capable of. It will be a great evening. We want to show a big event, show discipline, its values… and this time I want to win! I have no choice, it’s a win at home. I don’t want any defeats on my record.”
