Elon Musk has denied rumors that he is having an affair with Nicole Shanahan, the wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin.
The couple, who married in 2018, broke up in December last year, and Sergey Brin filed for divorce in January, but, according to Elon Musk, he himself has nothing to do with this story.
This Sunday (July 24, 22), The Wall Street Journal reported that last year the Tesla CEO “struck up a brief affair” with Nicole Shanahan. The alleged relationship would end “a long friendship of tech billionaires.”
The next day, Elon Musk responded on Twitter to debunk the rumor. “This is complete nonsense. Sergey and I are friends and last night we were at a party together! I saw Nicole only twice in three years, and both times surrounded by many other people. Nothing romantic,” he wrote.
In other tweets, the SpaceX boss criticized journalists for not contacting him before publishing his article.
“The WSJ has published so many compromising articles about me and Tesla that I have lost count! Shame on them, honestly. One day they wrote an article that the FBI was going to arrest me, so I called the FBI to ask what was going on and they said the WSJ article was completely false,” continued the 51-year-old businessman who is involved: “It is assumed that the WSJ has a high standard of journalism and is far below the tabloids at the moment. The WSJ should publish stories that are truly important to its readers and have a solid factual basis, not random rumors from third parties.”
Elon Musk was married to Justine Wilson between 2000 and 2008 and Talulah Riley twice from 2010 to 2012 and again from 2013 to 2016. More recently, the father of 10 was in a relationship with singer-songwriter Grimes, from whom he is separated. .
