There’s no release date for Hogwarts Legacy yet, but a new leak has just revealed various versions of the Harry Potter RPG.

Ever since it lavishly unveiled its gameplay during a special State of Play presentation last March, Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy has been very low key. We’ve been treated to a few new short snippets, like one showing the PS5 DualSense controller in action, but mostly we’re waiting for news of its release. The game is still officially scheduled for late 2022 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Communication may very well pick up speed soon, as the recent discovery of various publications suggests.

Hogwarts Legacy: A Physical Collector’s Edition Planned?

The leak comes from a Reddit user who was able to access hidden footage on the official Hogwarts Legacy website. The leak was verified by the forum moderators, who were also able to find the images following the instructions of the leaker, confirming the accuracy of the information.

Therefore, we discover that Hogwarts Legacy will have a deluxe edition and a collector’s edition. The last one will be very physical a priori, since it is linked to links leading to American reseller sites, and it seems to contain a steel book, as well as “an old floating magic wand with a book.” Here are the contents of these editions in detail:

Contents of Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition

  • The game
  • Thestral mountain
  • kelpie dress
  • Dark Arts Cosmetic Pack
  • Dark Arts Battle Arena
  • Dark Arts Garrison Hat
  • 72 hours of early access to the game

Contents of the Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s Edition

  • Contents of the Hogwarts Legacy Expanded Edition
  • Steel body
  • Antique floating magic wand with a book

With this revelation, we can imagine that Warner Bros is gearing up for an upcoming announcement to reveal the game’s exact release date.
