Honor no longer belonging to the Chinese group Huawei, it is no longer affected by US sanctions and can therefore relaunch in the smartphone market. Precisely, new high-end models are in preparation and some details have just leaked on the web.
GSMArena shared images of the Honor 50 and 50 Pro. We notice an atypical photo module with imposing circles which conceal several objectives. This design still reminds us of the Huawei P50 which was briefly presented at the conference earlier this week. No doubt these devices were developed together before the separation of the two brands.
108 MP and 50 MP for the new Honor
Zooming in on the images, we notice that the Honor 50 Pro has a 108 MP camera (f / 1.8), while the classic Honor 50 is “content” with a 50 MP camera (f / 1, 8). On the other hand, they both have a module with three cameras.
There would also be differences in the technical characteristics, one based on a Snapdragon 778G, while the other would benefit from an S888 like most of the high-end on the market. The Pro would also have a 6.8-inch 120Hz, 1440p AMOLED display. We can also expect fast charging 66W and 100W.
The presentation of the Honor 50 is scheduled for June 16.
