Hosman raises 6 million euros to deploy its new real estate agency in France

The Parisian start-up Hosman announces on May 21 a fundraising of 6 million euros. The funding round was led by LBO France, UL Invest and Andrea Wiele, the former CEO of Axel Springer. This is his second fundraising, the first of 1.5 million euros dates back to October 2018.

Conquer new cities
Thanks to these new funds, Hosman wishes to establish itself in Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse, Nice and Lille. It is already present in Ile-de-France, Nantes and Bordeaux. It also intends to strengthen its teams with the recruitment of around 100 permanent employees over the next twelve months.

Based on the observation that traditional real estate agencies offer often expensive services, Hosman launched its neo-real estate agency in 2018. It promises end-to-end support for a fixed price of 4900 euros paid for the success of the sale. For high-end real estate, the company offers a “premium” service with a fixed price of 8,900 euros. As a reminder, on average, the commission charged by the agencies is around 5% of the sale price of the property.

Full support at a fixed cost
In practice, the seller will be put in touch with a real estate expert who will offer an estimate of the property and the creation of an advertisement incorporating a 3D virtual visit. The ad will be offered to a buyer base. Each visit is the subject of a report. Hosman also offers administrative support from the signing of the promise of sale to that of the authentic deed with the notary.

Three years after its creation, Hosman has passed the 3,000 property mark for sale and has multiplied its business volume by 15. It has thus conquered more than 4% of the Parisian market. On average, per month, more than 300 clients entrust the sale of their property. Its objective is to conquer 10% of the real estate transaction market by 2024.
