Windows 11 System Compatibility Check

If your laptop or PC meets the above hardware specifications, you should run a Windows Health Check to ensure your PC is ready to install Windows 11 as soon as it starts rolling out.

1. Download the Windows Health Check app (free) from the Windows 11 website on your Windows PC.

2. Install the Windows Health Checker and run it.

3. At the top, you will find a banner that says “Get to know Windows 11”. Click the Check Now button to see if your laptop or PC is compatible with Windows 11.

4. If the PC Health Checker says “Windows 11 cannot run on PC”, don’t worry. In most laptops and PCs, the TPM module is disabled, even if the module is present on the motherboard.

5. To do this, go to the BIOS / UEFI settings, check the “Security and advanced features” section and find the TPM (for Intel) / fTPM (for AMD) setting. Then activate it. In addition, also enable “Safe Boot”.

6. Now run the application and check if your PC can run Windows 11. If you still get the message “The PC cannot run Windows 11”, your system may not have a supported processor or minimum system requirements.

But don’t worry, there is another way to run Windows 11 on unsupported devices. Microsoft will provide Windows 11 updates to Windows Insiders who do not qualify. Basically, users who participate in the Windows Insider Program (Developer and Beta Channels) will receive the Windows 11 Update. You can also sign up for this program using the official Microsoft website. Please note that as part of the Windows Insiders Program, you will not receive Windows 11 as a stable version.
