To create an NFT, you must first create a work that will become a unique digital asset. It can be a photo, video, audio and you must put it in JPEG, PNG, GIF, MP3, MP4 or other format depending on the platform you are registering your NFT on.
Once the job is created, add it to your NFT platform. Among the most popular are OpenSea, Rarible, SuperRare and Mintable. This step allows you to register it on the blockchain and may incur costs unless you opt for a solution that allows you to create NFTs for free, such as OpenSea.
When registering on your chosen platform, you will be asked which wallet you are using (Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect, Phantom, BitKeep, or others depending on the platform).
You can then link your NFT creation account to your collection. Here you will be asked to provide metadata related to your NFT, namely name, description, rarity, copies available, price and any other related information. When subscribing to your NFT, the platform will also ask you to pay for “no gas” or “fuel costs”. However, please note that the seller (and therefore you) is not responsible for these charges on some gasless platforms such as Rarible.
