Madden 23 has been dominating the American football scene for quite some time now. The latest version did not work without errors. A recent bug caused a stir in the community.

A new SSL Connect bug is raging in the console community affecting PlayStation 4 and 5 users. This bug is very annoying as it prevents players from playing the game. A white screen appears while playing, forcing players to turn off to play. Let’s see how to fix this error.

How to Fix Madden 23 SSL Connection Error for PS4 and PS5

The SSL connection error occurs because the PlayStation probably has a bad connection to the Electronic Arts Origin account. If there is a connection issue, you will experience an error in EA games. You need to connect or reconnect your console account to Origin.

Here are some simple steps to fix the error:

  • Visit the official EA website and click on the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  • Now click Login. Enter your PlayStation ID username and password.
  • The website will ask you to link your Origin account to your PlayStation.
  • Add a connection.

To verify that the connection exists, go to your account settings. Go to “Connections”, you will notice that a new connection to the PlayStation is displayed. This should fix the bug. However, if you are still experiencing the issue, we recommend contacting EA Support immediately.
