How to transfer WhatsApp account from Android to iOS?

During the transfer of an account, the Transfer to iOS app also transfers the rest of the information you need. That is, your conversations, your photos and your videos. It will even place a WhatsApp icon on your iPhone home screen. So you just have to click on it to install the app without even opening the App Store.

And of course, the app also shares information about your WhatsApp account: your profile picture, group chats, chat history, and account-specific settings.

However, it will not share your call history or the name you chose to display on WhatsApp.

1. Install the latest version of WhatsApp and migrate to iOS.

First of all, make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp and the Migrate to iOS app installed on your Android mobile device.

2. Connect both devices to the charger and to the same Wi-Fi network.

On the page Data transfer, you will be prompted to select the information you want to transfer to your iPhone. WhatsApp should be listed as one of the options. Make sure you select it.

When you’re ready to begin the transfer process, click the button For start. Transfer can take from several minutes to an hour. It all depends on how much data you need to transfer.

Once the transfer is complete, your WhatsApp account and the rest of the information you choose will be on your iPhone. If you’re selling or trading in your old Android phone, make sure you reset it, making sure all your information and data is now on your iPhone.
