How to Use Google Reverse Image Search

In addition to regular search and image search, Google also offers a reverse image search feature that you can use to search for an image you have.

For example, if you have an image of a product you’d like to buy but don’t know the exact name of the product, you can use a reverse image search to find that product or similar products. It could be an image sent to you by a friend or colleague that you want to learn more about.

How to use the Google Image Reverse Search feature?

The first thing you need is to save the photo on your device, it can be your smartphone, tablet or computer.

Go to Google Images and then click on the photo icon in the search box, then you will be prompted to paste the image URL or upload the image. Select the Upload Image option, and then select Choose File on mobile or Browse on a computer.

You can then upload the file to your browser and Google will show you exactly the same images as the one you uploaded, if available. If exact images are not available, Google will show you similar images.
