The incidence rate by department is an indicator that must be closely followed to follow the evolution of the epidemic. Together, we discovered the incidence rates for each department on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

The indicator to watch closely at this time is the incidence rate for each department. In fact, it allows estimating the proportion of infected in each department and corresponds to the number of people who tested positive in the last 7 days out of 100,000 inhabitants.

Below you will find the incidence rates by department as of Wednesday, October 20, 2021. We note in rouge the departments for which the incidence rate is higher than 200 per 100,000, in Orange departments for which it is between 50 and 199 per 100,000. We put in vert departments for which the threshold is lower than the alert threshold set at 50 per 100,000.

The overall incidence rate in France as of Wednesday, October 20, 2021 (consolidated data) reached 50.91, that is, slightly below the alert threshold set at 50.
