Insta360 Link Test: How much does this motorized 4K webcam for streamers cost?

In early August, the Insta360 brand officially unveiled its new camera: the Insta360 Link. This is a new 4K webcam, the optical part of which is mounted on a motorized (and stabilized) 3-axis gimbal to offer degrees of movement and features clearly not available on conventional webcams. An Insta360 Link camera capable of capturing or streaming images in Ultra HD at up to 30fps or 1080p and 720p at up to 60fps, which the excellent David Nogueira has already been able to test. His video review can be found below.

Many AI-related features also promise to make life easier for webcam users in several ways. The 3-axis gimbal lens, in particular, uses AI tracking to follow the user’s movements and always keep them exactly centered. With automatic pan and zoom, there is no need to manually adjust the camera during a call.

The manufacturer has also developed special modes for activating with gestures, useful modes for creating videos to publish on a YouTube channel, including live streaming or YouTube Shorts, not to mention TikTok, which uses portrait mode orientation.

“At Insta360, we champion the boldest, craziest, wildest ideas and bring them to life. When other people say, “It’s impossible,” we say, “Let’s do it,” explains the brand.

From dual noise-cancelling microphones to block out unwanted interference, to easy mounting with the built-in screen clip and stand, the Insta 360 Link Webcam is perfect for work and everyday life. For video calls, the camera is fully compatible with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, Google Meet and other platforms on macOS and Windows computers.

The new Insta360 Link camera is already available on the brand’s official website at a price of 369.99 euros.
