“Jeff Bezos was so excited that he ordered all models in all sizes. It gives an idea ”, says Stephan / H CEO Stephan Huot, still in the cloud, in an interview with the Journal.
“Of course, when you dress one of the richest men in the world, you are proud of that. We are very happy ”, he adds.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos ($ 258 billion) is the world’s second-richest man, after Tesla boss Elon Musk ($ 361 billion), according to Forbes.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos notably bought his flight suit that goes into space.
Last March, Jeff Bezos’ assistant ordered clothes from Stephan / H, which cost about $ 1,500. There was a rich collaboration.
On the Blue Origin website we can see the Stephan / H logo with wings on the shoulder of a woman, who is wearing a dress in the middle of the desert.
“I don’t know where it started from, but they took over our business and took over it,” shares Stephan Huot, who notes that Jeff Bezos’ brother Mark also bought a uniform.
Modernize flight clothing
Founded in 2012, Stephan / H germinated in the mind of Quebec pilot and businessman, Stephan Huot, owner of Airmedic, who wanted to create a more comfortable flight uniform than the old-fashioned clothing of yesteryear.
Back then, there were no good pilot uniforms, recalls Huot, who tried the flight suit himself to perfect it over time.
“It looked like Jacques’s dog, like the clothes of the old mechanics. We secretly developed this in Quebec, ”says the man who patented his fireproof innovation, which is used by firefighters.
The Matrix 4, Godzilla vs Kong, The Rescue … the eye-catching look of Stephan / H’s stretch clothing has won over the big names in cinema.
“We have already sold our clothes to Hollywood or Netflix productions and to global aviation giants like Airbus, Bell and NASA,” he says.
Mission to mars
Today, Stephan Huot can even brag about dressing up the 100 or so astronauts competing for the next mission to the red planet.
“When NASA called us to dress the astronauts who were going to Mars, I am going to tell you a case: it hit,” he concludes.
Blue Origin did not respond to the Journal’s requests for an interview.
♦ Stephan Huot began his career as a real estate agent in the Quebec City region. Now he runs the Huot Group, which launched the Olive telemedicine platform at the beginning of the year, which aims to be a “Netflix of health.”
