The French job site dedicated to students and young graduates JobTeaser announces on Tuesday 20 September its first acquisition in Europe. This is Graduateland, a Danish competitor. The acquisition will position the company, which is based in 25 countries, as a leader in Scandinavia and is part of its expansion strategy in Europe.

Between them, JobTeaser and Graduateland will offer a pool of 5 million students from over 750 European schools and universities to 250,000 recruiters in Europe. “The availability of local talent no longer always meets the expectations of recruiters who are now looking all over Europe. This trend has accelerated significantly with the democratization of remote work. Mobility has also become a very sought after criterion that pushes them to expand their research beyond borders,” comments Adrian Ledoux , head of JobTeaser, in a press release.
JobTeaser, founded in 2008, has over 350 employees in Europe, while Graduateland, founded in 2010, has 45 people. Its platform is used by 1.2 million candidates looking for an internship or first job, and several thousand companies.
The new group intends to hire 150 people in France and Europe as part of its growth. Since its inception, JobTeaser has raised €68 million, with the latest funding round dating back to 2019. The company is part of Next40/120.
