A new push update for the PlayStation 4 remaster Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning allows the RPG to run at native 4K resolution when played through backward compatibility on PS5. Released yesterday, it’s patch 1.08 that you need to be on the lookout for. The download also provides additional stability improvements, fixes to visual issues, and improved controller sensitivity. Some interrupted quests should also work.
A long list of bugs was one of the criticisms we had of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning when we reviewed it last year. “Re-Reckoning isn’t a great remaster, but there’s no denying that Kingdoms of Amalur is still a lot of fun to play.
