Manage health data …
Lifen (formerly Honestica) was founded in 2015 by Franck Le Ouay, Criteo co-founder, Alexandre Hucker, a Silicon Valley-trained entrepreneur, and Philippe Douste-Blazy, Jacques Chirac’s former Minister of Health. Initially, he specialized in digitizing medical records in order to simplify the transfer of information between healthcare professionals and patients. Then, it diversified its activities around health data management more generally.
In practice, the company has developed a platform that allows doctors to send their medical documents to all their correspondents (colleagues, patients and establishments). Includes medical directory and automatic detection of correspondents present in the document sent. It is compatible with all medical software available in the market, promises young growth.
… Facilitate exchanges between professionals and patients
Lifen solutions are aimed at numerous healthcare professionals and structures, such as public and private healthcare facilities, general practitioners and specialists, as well as medical secretaries. For their part, patients can consult their medical documents from their computer or smartphone. Each month, Lifen sends two million medical documents to 240,000 doctors.
Thanks to this new staff, this young growth, based in Paris and made up of 160 people, wishes to continue its growth in France. It already has more than 600 client establishments, which represents more than two million patients per month. Its goal is to deploy its technology in more than 1,500 hospitals by 2025. To support this growth, more than 200 hires in technical, product and commercial teams are planned in the next 18 months.
Digitizing hospitals, a post-Covid ambition
The digitization of healthcare facilities has sparked renewed interest since the Covid-19 pandemic. This health and economic crisis has exposed the weaknesses of the current system, where health data is scattered and often poorly protected from cyberattacks. Therefore, providing a secure solution for the exchange of medical information is perfectly suited to current concerns.
