Logitech Brio 500 webcams and Zone Vibe headphones introduced

Logitech has added new products to its range of computer accessories, such as the new Zone Vibe headphones and Brio 500 webcams. Designed for users who demand enterprisegrade sound and video quality, Logitech says. The Brio 500 and Brio 505 webcams represent a new class of webcams for the most common videoconferencing applications.

The Brio 500 series webcams feature a new Show Mode feature added to make it easier to share thumbnails or other physical objects that may be on your work surface or office desk. The webcam’s design allows you to tilt the camera down to focus on objects that might be on your desk, and with a builtin sensor, the camera automatically flips the image to display it in the correct orientation during a video call.

“A recent study found that over 89% of adults working from home struggle with adverse camera angles, poor lighting conditions, and field of view limitations when using a laptop’s builtin camera. The Brio 500 webcams and Zone Vibe headphones solve the challenges users face while working from home and modernize their work and entertainment experience. Both make it easier for IT managers to equip remote and hybrid workers in their organizations in an environmentally friendly way.”

The Brio 500 series webcams and the Zone Vibe 100 and 125 headphones will be available later this month directly from the Logitech online store and worldwide through partners and resellers for $129.99. The Zone Vibe Wireless goes on sale in December for $99.99.

“Many remote and hybrid workers are still underequipped and struggling with prepandemic era solutions,” said Scott Wharton, general manager of the Logitech Video Collaboration. “Our innovative new genre of Brio webcams and Zone Vibe headphones meet the demands of today’s workers who demand businessclass quality, style and affordability for work and play. Transformative features such as Brio’s Show Mode open up new sharing opportunities for teachers, designers and architects, making it easy to remotely represent physical objects, notes and sketches via video.”

“The Brio 500 and Zone Vibe series headphones are certified carbon neutral, which means the product’s carbon footprint has been reduced to zero thanks to Logitech’s investment in carbon offset and removal projects. Brio 500 plastic parts include certified recycled plastic: 68% for graphite and black and 54% for offwhite and pink. Zone Vibe is made from at least 25% recycled plastic.”
