Logitech G502 X Gaming Mouse Series Launched

This week, Logitech launched the new G502 X, G502 X LightSpeed, and G502 X Plus series of gaming mice. All three mice are available in black and white. The G502 X also features the HERO 25K precision gaming sensor, delivering 1:1 ratio accuracy at submicron levels and no smoothing, filtering or overclocking. Exclusive to Logitech G, all G502 X models come with allnew LIGHTFORCE hybrid optomechanical switches, delivering “speed and reliability, plus precise actuation with crisp response,” says Logitech.

“The G502 X offers a redesigned, reversible and detachable DPI switch button to suit a wide variety of hand sizes and grip styles, a redesigned scroll wheel with higher stability and lighter weight while retaining the G502’s iconic dual ultrafast infinite scroll and precise ratchet modes, USB charging -C for wireless versions, as well as a thinwalled exoskeleton for weight reduction and maximum rigidity.”

“LIGHTFORCE is a revolutionary microswitch technology that combines the benefits of optical switches with the essential actuation feel of mechanical switches that gamers love. Optical switches provide high speed, performance and good reliability over the lifetime of the mouse. LIGHTFORCE uses galvanic contact elements inside the switch that work exactly like mechanical switches to maintain a crisp feel. As a result, the optical and mechanical triggers are engineered in unison for maximum gaming performance. LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches provide ultralow latency, reliable optical actuation combined with the best in crisp, tactile mechanical click performance.”

“The G502 X PLUS model comes with LIGHTSYNC RGB with the following features: smooth 8LED lighting that adjusts and adapts as the user plays, startup and poweroff effects, and battery optimization through active playback detection.”
