Last May, we mentioned in an article about the introduction of cryptocurrency payment in some Gucci stores in the United States.
As the luxury brand points out in a tweet, the company is continuing to explore Web3 by gradually accepting other cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH) and some popular altcoins such as Dogecoin (DOGE) or its competitor. Shiba Inu (SHIB).
Cryptocurrency payments in stores are made using a QR code, emailed to Gucci, which customers can scan with their crypto wallet to pay for their purchases.
However, this news did not have a significant impact on the price of APE, which is currently around $6.91 on Binance.
