Someone who fights phishing attacks and ransomware claims to want to “democratize effective and accessible cybersecurity.” As such, he is working on the design of a solution hosted on the user’s workstation to facilitate access to day-to-day cybersecurity services. Mailinblack offers two independent solutions, one to protect messaging (spam, phishing, ransomware, and malware detection) and the other to educate employees on best practices.

Mailinblack claims that more than a million users work daily at 14,000 client companies, whether they are VSEs, SMBs, government administrations, or healthcare providers. These are names such as OpenClassrooms, Grand Frais, Angouleme Hospital Center or Novoferm. It guarantees a 96% renewal rate for its clients and its solution handles 5 billion emails per year.

consolidate the market and diversify your solutions

With this fundraising, Mailinblack claims it wants to consolidate the market and diversify its solutions. This will happen through external growth operations, whether it be business acquisitions or partnerships, as well as the development of new solutions within the company. Recently, the topic of cybersecurity has been gaining momentum.

Digital Minister Delegate Jean-Michel Barraud recently said that by 2025 the turnover of the cybersecurity sector should triple, France should have three unicorns and create 37,000 jobs. Mailinblack intends to take advantage of this growing sector, but it is not alone in the sector.
