The incidence rate shoots up in some municipalities. Here are those with more than 1,000 cases per 100,000 population during the rolling week of November 25 to December 1, 2021:

  • In Morbihan: Carentoir, Caro, Buléon, Brandérion, Melrand, Bubry, commercial area of ​​Kerniol in Vannes et Gâvres.
  • In Ille-et-Vilaine: Renac, La Chapelle-de-Brain, Saint-Ganton, Saint-Just, Availles-sur-Seiche, Saint-Germain-du-Pinel, Chasné-sur-Illet, Rimou, Bécherel, Broualan, Mont-Dol, Le Vivier-sur-Mer, Saint-Guinoux, southern industrial area in Saint-Malo, La Janais and the districts of Plaine de Baud and ZA Sud Est in Rennes.
  • In the Côtes-d’Armor: Créhen, Plumaudan, Loscouët-sur-Meu, Merléac, Saint-Nicolas-du-Pélem, Maël-Pestivien, Bulat-Pestivien, Berhet and Plougrescant
  • In Finistère: the districts of Les Villages-La Forêt and the Upper Town of Quimperlé.

Morbihan wins worst department award for incidence rate. As of Friday, December 3, 2021, it is 304.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

The other departments present the following data: 296 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in Ille-et-Vilaine, 193.1 per 100,000 inhabitants in Finistère and 183.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in Côtes-d’Armor.

If we take Brittany into account at 5, the Loire-Atlantique incidence rate is even higher at 366 per 100,000 inhabitants.
