Marvel’s Midnight Suns has a new release date for PC, Xbox and PlayStation

After another delay, Marvel’s Midnight Suns has a new release date. Firaxis’ new Marvel strategy game is coming to next-gen consoles and PC on December 2, 2022. A release date for the Switch version has yet to be announced.

Midnight Suns was announced in 2021 and was originally scheduled for release on October 7, 2022, with a Switch version to be released at a later date. In August, the release of the game was delayed and will now be released in December. However, the Switch version has yet to receive a release date.

Watch the trailer here:

Midnight Suns, developed by Firaxis Games, will be familiar to XCOM fans. Players can control iconic heroes such as Doctor Strange and Ghost Rider and move them to different locations on the map to take down enemies strategically.

The game also has a social element as players will take on the role of the Hunter, an original character that can interact with the Marvel Universe.

The animated prequel featuring the main characters of the game, including Blade, Ghost Rider, Nico Minoru, Magik, Iron Man and others, will premiere on October 31st.

While Midnight Suns is out for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, we’ll have to wait longer for a proper Switch release date.
