Scheduled for release next week on PC, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has run into a pricing error on Steam in some territories. As such, interested players are encouraged to cancel their pre-order in order to repeat it in order to receive the game at a lower price.
Having been exclusive to PlayStation consoles for almost four years, Marvel’s Spider-Man is coming to PC soon, in line with Sony’s strategy to expand its presence outside of its own ecosystem. Recently, Insomniac Games also gave us a little tour of the owner to introduce us to the technical innovations that will be in the program for the occasion. However, it appears that there has been a bit of a mess with the game’s pricing on Steam, which may have had some impact on pre-orders in some territories.
Marvel’s Spider-Man PC Pricing Error
Indeed, a report posted recently on Valve’s platform revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man was being offered at the wrong price in several countries, namely Switzerland, the UK, Poland, Norway, Australia, Israel, and New Zealand. So if you live in one of them, you’ll have to cancel your pre-order and re-order to get the game at the right price. But the good news is that this mistake is in favor of the players, as the current price is now lower than what was originally offered.
On the other hand, no change is noted on the French or Belgian side, where the title is still offered for €59.99 on Steam. As a reminder, the PC version will be a port of the Remastered version released for PS5, but optimized for the Insomniac Games and Nixxes Software platform. Any pre-order will get you three Spider-Man costumes, early access to the Spider Drone Gadget, and finally five skill points to reward yourself with. As a reminder, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will release on August 12 on PC.
