Microsoft awards Boosteroid a 10-year contract that guarantees access to Xbox and Activision PC games after the merger.

Microsoft is simple confirmed that he signed a 10-year contract with Boosteroid. The deal will give the cloud gaming platform access to Xbox PC and Activision Blizzard PC games after closing the proposed $69 billion mega deal, according to the Redmond-based company.

Microsoft continues to urge various competition regulators to approve a proposed merger with Activision. To allay concerns, the software giant has signed 10-year contracts with rivals including Nintendo and Nvidia, but Sony still refuses to accept them. Now Redmond’s company has signed another deal. This time with Boosteroid, a company that does research and development in Ukraine.

“We believe in the power of games to bring people together. That’s why Xbox is committed to giving everyone more options to play their favorite games across all devices,” said Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming. “Providing Xbox games for PC to Boosteroid members, including Activision Blizzard games such as”call of Duty“Once the deal is done, this is another step towards realizing that vision.

The deal will bring more gamers to COD, according to Microsoft, surpassing the recently announced figure of 150 million. As the Boosteroid platform expands to gamers in the US, EU and UK, this deal should help Microsoft build a good image in the eyes of observers, especially British authorities, who continue to question the deal.
