Microsoft: their Xbox app could soon tell you if a game will work well on your PC

Our colleagues at the GHacks site have discovered a new feature in a preview version of the Xbox app, intended for testers. This feature provides an indication of the performance of a game on the target computer.

In the screenshot above, the Hades game is labeled It should play great on this PC (it should work just fine on this PC). However, Microsoft does not specify how this index is generated, knowing that the application can access the characteristics of the computer.
Does this go against the minimum system requirements for gaming or does Microsoft have a base to calculate based on things like CPU, GPU, and RAM?

Also, the indication is not yet available for all games. Some titles, such as Age of Empires 4 and Forza Horizon 5, are marked as Performance Check as not yet available.
Regardless, the performance indications seem reliable and are an appreciable option when buying a game, to make sure you don’t get disappointed.

Microsoft has not indicated if this new feature will be present in the next version of the Xbox application for Windows and when it will be available.
