After Minecraft Dungeons (available on Amazon.fr starting at €23.99), Mojang teamed up with Blackbird Interactive to develop another spin-off of their iconic Minecraft Legends game. It will be a strategy action game that utilizes the cubic aesthetic and resource gathering mechanics that made the franchise famous.
The title was shown more at Minecraft Live 2022 this weekend, including a preview of its commented gameplay. We were able to further appreciate its various biomes scattered across the procedurally generated map, preparing for battles, gathering allies, spawning mobs, and finally assaulting the opposing portal. The experience will offer a memorable campaign that can be played solo or in online co-op and PvP.
The presentation also gave the opportunity to present a video dedicated to the invasion of piglins that threaten the whole world. The trailer even states that Minecraft Legends, previously scheduled for release in 2023, is scheduled for next spring on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
