In sports games, creating your own player makes career mode more personal and interesting. I consider myself a fan of sports career modes and have lost count of how many non-standard players I have created in my gaming life. Poor fellows, they’re in limbo right now. Either way, the nightmarish state of gaming avatars aside, creating players is a wonderful thing to do, but sometimes you just need to start over and let go of your past history in the sport. Fortunately, in the digital world, this is possible. Here is how to delete a created player in MLB The Show 22.

How to delete a created player

There are several ways to remove a player created in MLB The Show 22. But first you need to know that if this player is currently active, you will not be able to remove him. This means that you will want to activate another created player before deleting the one you originally wanted to delete. Once you’ve done this (or if you need to), select “Profile”, click “Manage”, then “Remove Ball Carrier”. Select the created player you want to delete and you’re done.

Now another way to delete players is to completely delete all player data in the game, which will also delete all created players. To do this, go to “Settings” in the main menu, then click on “File Management”, click on “Delete”, then click on “Delete Players”. This will remove all players created in MLB The Show 22.

This process is completely different from removing players in general, so don’t go that route or you’ll end up changing lineups, or maybe you don’t want to do it at all. However, if you only want to remove created players, just follow the guide above and keep it simple.
