Monster Hunter Rise: Great News for Console and PC Players

Monster Hunter Rise was also present at Capcom’s latest event. And the game had very good news for us!

Capcom has teased several big upcoming games. Resident Evil 4 Remake has finally unveiled its demo, the next Resident Evil movie has shared new images, and Exoprimal, the uninhibited multiplayer Dino Crisis, has some huge surprises in store for us. But what would a Capcom event be without Monster Hunter?

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak finally has a release date for PlayStation and Xbox!

Monster Hunter Rise was there too and made some nice announcements. First of all, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One players will be happy to know that MH Rise’s big expansion, Sunbreak, finally has a release date.
This big DLC is now expected on these platforms from April 28th. It will include everything that the original expansion offered on Switch and PC, but not only. Capcom has stated that this version of Sunbreak includes all content released prior to V.13 DLC (i.e. Update 3 on PC and Switch). This means that in addition to all the new Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak features, PlayStation and Xbox players will also be able to discover new missions, nearly a dozen new giant monsters including variants, new gear and more. Plus, if you pre-order Sunbreak now, you’ll be able to get some in-game bonuses.

Big update coming soon to Switch and PC

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak also talked about their Switch and PC versions. The latter, the more advanced one, will soon receive a big update 5, which, as usual, will also add a ton of content. The new update will be released in April, but has not yet revealed its secrets. Capcom is setting up a meeting with us for a new event on this topic.

Monster Hunter Rise and its Sunbreak DLC are now available on all platforms and will receive free updates throughout the year. Fans are now waiting for a possible Monster Hunter World 2.
