German manufacturer Montblanc has just announced a new connected watch, the Summit 2+. The exterior design hardly changes, it is mainly a technical upgrade of the Summit 2 launched in 2018. We just notice that the case is a little wider with 43.5 mm in diameter against 42 mm before.
The AMOLED screen is also slightly larger with 1.28 inches (instead of 1.2 inches), a difference that does not change the appearance of the watch. It now incorporates a 440 mAh battery, as well as an eSIM to improve its versatility. The Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor is still in the game and it is IPX68 certified. Marketing is scheduled for April with a fixed starting price of € 1,170.
The MB 01, headphones with active noise reduction
Montblanc also presented a new wireless headset, the MB 01. The manufacturing is premium with the presence of noble materials such as aluminum and leather. The announced autonomy is 20 hours, it has an active noise reduction system, a proximity sensor, Bluetooth 5.0 and supports the aptX codec. Finally, it is compatible with Google Assistant. Count 590 euros to offer you the new high-end helmet from Montblanc. For comparison, the Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless, which is positioned on the same segment, is offered at less than 400 euros.
