ET Motorola announced the Motorola Edge 30 this Wednesday (27). But it didn’t take long, and the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) approved a mid-range mobile phone with a 144Hz display and a 50MP triple camera on the same launch day. The smartphone should soon start selling in Brazil.

The certification is for the mobile phone model XT2203-1. A code associated with the Motorola Edge 30 also appeared on a phone approved by similar agency Anatel in the United Arab Emirates. The Technical Compliance Certificate mentions two manufacturing plants, one in Jaguarion, South Carolina, and the other in China.
“The phone must come with a compatible battery and charger duly approved by Anatel,” the document says.

Motorola Edge 30 is equipped with two 50MP cameras.
The Motorola Edge 30 is Motorola’s latest cell phone. Announced this Wednesday (27), the launch draws attention with a triple photographic set with two 50-megapixel cameras. Another feature is a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Another point that draws attention is the 6.5-inch screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The data sheet from the consumer shows Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G + 5G, up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB. But the battery is only 4020 mAh, which significantly less than the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, which has 4800 mAh.
The Motorola Edge 30 will go on sale in Europe for €449.99, or about R$2,285 with direct conversion. According to Motorola, the smartphone will be available in “select markets in Asia, Australia, India, Latin America and the Middle East in the coming weeks.”
