The American company is not abandoning the ultra-competitive entry-level market. A segment on which it is authoritative thanks to previous versions presenting strong arguments (autonomy, performance, design) against Chinese references. Let’s see what the latest addition to the Lenovo subsidiary has to offer, positioned below the 200 euros mark.
The first of a long series ?
The Motorola Moto G9 Play sports a fairly classic design with a teardrop-shaped notch on the front and a triple module housed in a square block on the back. The three sensors in question adopt the following configuration:
- 48-megapixel wide-angle (f / 1.7)
- A 2 megapixel depth sensor
- A 2 megapixel macro sensor
Motorola’s accessible smartphone has a 6.5-inch HD + screen in 20: 9 format. Evolving under Android 10, it displays an interface similar to Android Stock. Under the hood, we find the latest entry-level SoC from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 662. It is combined with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory expandable up to 512 GB. Finally, this terminal is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery which would give it two days of autonomy.
Release date and price
