Imrane Djoubri, 21, wants to launch his own online platform for video game enthusiasts. The goal? Buy, resell collectible products and discuss video game news.
It all came from an idea last summer. Imrane Djoubri, 21, passionate, wants to launch his “Vinted” of video games. The objective: to buy and resell collectible video game products. “The goal is to exchange from person to person and no longer rummage on different platforms. Here, we will have a single platform for enthusiasts
“. Ilo gamer will be a site for exchanges, news and resale. “I realized that this did not exist in France”, he specifies.
A dream that is refined
In parallel with his studies, the young entrepreneur refines his idea during his training at Incuba Street in Elbeuf, a business incubator. “I’ve been a fan of video games since I was little and I’m very interested in the world of collecting. “ His best friend, also a collector but of Marvel figurines, gave him a taste for this area. “It will really be a niche platform that primarily targets retro gaming and collectors.”
Thanks to training, Imrane grows. “At Incuba Sreet, I was supported a lot in my idea. I was the youngest of the group and I was afraid of not being taken seriously when it comes to video games… But on the contrary, we helped each other. “ The dream of working in gaming is slowly approaching. “I am trying to speed up the release of the site so that I can improve myself by taking into account the feedback”, explains the Rouennais. The young man has already opened his Facebook page and animates it with video game news. For the moment, Imrane is juggling his dream and the search for a work-study in marketing next year. “To put money aside” and make Ilo gamer a reality.
