“Fuck off,” with just such a laconic message, Netflix announced on July 4 the launch of the second season of its New School rap competition.

Netflix’s rap competition has helped launch the careers of several young rappers whose streaming on Spotify skyrocketed after the broadcast.

Casting for this new season kicked off in Marseille on June 28th, with rapper SCH, one of the three judges for the competition. Niska is responsible for selecting candidates from Paris and Shai from Brussels.

So candidates can already sign up to try and be the rap star of tomorrow.

The Belgian Fresh LaPeufra became the winner of the competition at the end of the Nouvelle Ecole final. He won with his Chop title, first place and the €100,000 that was at stake. He also released his first EP titled Bientôt à l’abri on 1 July.
