Apple unveiled their new Mac Studio yesterday at the press conference, they also unveiled the new iPad Air and the new iPhone SE, now we have details on the new 2022 MacBook Air.
We expect to see a number of other Macs from Apple this year, including the Mac Pro, MacBook Air, several MacBook Pros, as well as a larger iMac. Now it looks like we have some details about one of these devices.
According to respected Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, later this year we will see an updated MacBook Air with a new design and form factor. He posted the information on Twitter and you can see his tweet below.
Predictions for the new MacBook Air in 2022:
1. Mass production at the end of 2Q22 or 3Q22
2. CPU: M1 chip
3. No mini LED display
4. Brand new form factor design

If so, then the 2022 MacBook Air will be equipped with an Apple M1 processor, which version of the M1 processor is not yet known. It will be interesting to see what design changes Apple brings to the MacBook Air.
We expect to see a few more new Macs at WWDC 2022 in June, so maybe we can see the new 2022 MacBook Air then.
