New BMW 3.0 CSL officially unveiled

The new BMW 3.0 CSL is now officially unveiled, the 552 horsepower car is being launched as part of BMW M’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.

The original BMW CSL was produced in the 1970s and the new car will be produced in a limited edition of only 59 units and most of the car is handmade.

The BMW 3.0 CSL is produced in a strictly limited edition. To commemorate the anniversary, exactly 50 consecutively numbered units of the special model will go on sale. From the very beginning, this gives the BMW 3.0 CSL a rarity status that will find its place in the car collections of especially dedicated and enthusiastic fans of the BMW M brand.

The production of all cars will take about three months. Each one is created with an absolute commitment to excellence in craftsmanship and precisely coordinated technology in a complex manufacturing process outside the BMW Group Dingolfing plant in Mostenning, Lower Bavaria. The exclusive interior components made of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) are handcrafted both in Munich and at the BMW Group Components Plant in Landshut by dedicated body repair specialists.
