Dacia has launched its first hybrid in the UK, the Dacia Jogger HYBRID 140, powered by a 1.6litre petrol engine and two electric motors, as well as a 1.2 kWh battery.
The new Dacia Jogger HYBRID 140 is available in two trim levels: Extreme SE Trim and Shadow Grey.
The Jogger HYBRID 140 is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.6 liter 90 hp petrol engine, two electric motors (a 50 hp engine and a high voltage starter/generator) and a multimode automatic transmission combined with a 1.2 kWh (230 AT). These components work together to provide full electric start and instant torque, electriconly smooth running, and selectable drive modes for a variety of conditions. The powertrain puts out a very useful 140bhp, allowing a 0100km/h sprint in 10.1 seconds, but CO2 emissions reach just 112g/km, returning up to 56.5mpg (combined WLTP).
Regenerative braking combined with the high energy recovery of the 1.2 kWh (230 V) battery allows the Jogger HYBRID 140 to spend up to 80% of its time on urban roads in full electric mode, thereby saving up to 40% of fuel. compared to an equivalent petrol model. What’s more, this technology ensures that customers can save a lot without changing the way they drive because there is no need to plug it in to charge.
