New Mercedes GLE 400e 4MATIC plugin hybrid unveiled

We previously saw the new 2024 Mercedes GLE SUV and coupe, and now we have details on another new model, the Mercedes GLE 400e 4MATIC plugin hybrid.

The new Mercedes GLE 400e 4MATIC plugin hybrid has 248 horsepower and 295 lbft of torque, with a 060 acceleration time of just 5.8 seconds.

A number of detailed exterior changes give the GLE a noticeably more modern look. The new front bumper provides a greater visual impact. Two horizontal slats with chrome inserts run through the GLE radiator grille. The grille of the external air intakes received a horizontal chrome accent.

MercedesBenz is characterized by the socalled “light glare” in the headlights. In the standard HighPerformance LED headlights, two light dots complement the distinctive design of the daytime running lights, while in the optional MULTIBEAM LED headlights, there are four. Designers have also revised the interior of the taillights: on the GLE, the light sign is formed by two horizontal blocks. Ambient lighting with animated MercedesBenz pattern projection is available as a new option.
