New sports headsets for gaming from SteelSeries

In the video game sector, this is no longer a joke! Now you need special hardware, no more fiddling around with a stupid keyboard or an old fashioned controller. And the same goes for sound. And here SteelSeries comes to the rescue, which has just introduced its new line of headphones.

Esports competitions have shown that video games are a serious business. And this is achieved through the right accessories for the most demanding players. SteelSeries has completely redesigned the headphones with the Arctis Nova Pro line “inspired by audiophile listening rooms”, that’s it!

Wired or wireless

In detail, these are two audio headsets presented by a gaming peripherals specialist. The Arctis Nova Pro wireless includes active noise cancellation thanks to a 4-mic hybrid system that cancels out outside noise. A transparency mode is also available. This model comes with two rechargeable batteries: while you’re playing, the second battery is fully charged, so you’ll never get caught off guard.

The wireless base station acts as a control center for equalizer settings, input device, volume and chat function. The OLED screen also shows battery level and other information. Arctis Nova Pro is offered in three versions: PC, Xbox and PlayStation, priced at €379.99.

The wired Arctis Nova Pro features a 2nd generation DAC dedicated to gaming, an ESS Saber chip that will amplify audio with up to 78% signal amplification. This GameDAC Gen2 station also acts as a command center for all platforms, and there’s also an OLED screen for settings. The headset has been released for PC and Xbox and is priced at €279.99.
