This study suggests that hours spent in front of a video game can increase brain activity and, above all, cognitive abilities that allow you to make quick decisions. In these virtual universes, summarizing all the necessary information before making an important decision is critical and just as important as it is in real life.
These results were obtained by measuring the neural activity of college students who regularly or do not play video games using MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). Regular gamers responded faster and more accurately to the test, with some areas of their brain registering higher activity than others.
