New trailer for The DioField Chronicle

Square Enix today released a new “Explain the Game” trailer for The DioField Chronicle, its upcoming strategy RPG. The video is currently only released in Japanese, but we will update this article if an English/French equivalent is available.

SQUARE ENIX® announced that The DioField Chronicle™ will be available on PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™ and PC on Steam® on September 22nd. This brand new strategy RPG immerses players in an epic mix of war, honor and intense real-time tactical combat. Physical and digital pre-orders for The DioField Chronicle are now open on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam. Pre-orders for physical versions are also available on Nintendo Switch and will be available for digital versions soon.

People who want to try The DioField Chronicle before its release will be able to do so on August 10 thanks to the demo of the game and discover the beginning of the game before the end of the first chapter. Players will be able to transfer their save from the demo to the full game when it launches.

DioField Chronicle is a real-time strategic combat system called Real Time Tactical Battle (RTTB) based on a dark and gripping storyline created by an experienced and talented development team. The original characters were created by Taiki (Lord of Vermilion III, IV), the concept art was created by Isamu Kamikokurio (FINAL FANTASY XII, FINAL FANTASY XIII), and the music is beautifully orchestrated by composers Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell, known worldwide for their work. on Game of Thrones.

Buyers of the Digital Deluxe Edition will receive in-game items that can be used from the start of the main game, including the Knight’s Spear weapon and the Mystic Ring accessory. They will also have access to digital versions of The DioField Chronicle soundtrack and artbook.
