Its unique artistic direction echoing the productions of animation studio Ghibli allows Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom to transport you to a colorful world to explore alongside fascinating characters. The storyline, the rhythm in the real-time battles and a sound coverage worthy of the best productions signed by the legendary Joe Hisaishi. Ni No Kuni had been at the origin of a real revolution in the gaming world with an animation aspect. Studio Ghibli then experimented with video games in its productions. Score: 16/20

Ni No Kuni II is a true tale, relating the initiation rite of young Evan who learns to become king. Voluntarily naive, he presents colorful characters in an often intoxicating artistic landscape, despite a few errors in the course. Its marriage of genres, between J-RPG, management and STR, is a real success, with a mastered interdependence. Kingdom Mode alone can keep you entertained for hours! If the title of Level-5 was more inspired in terms of quests, and especially less easy, it could have really set the bar very high. There remains an experience that we advise you without fear.
