While Belgium is on orange alert due to high temperatures earlier in the week, Nintendo released a little reminder on Twitter so you can’t damage your Switch.
After all, like any electronic device, Switch is sensitive to temperature. Here are Nintendo tips:
- If you use the Nintendo Switch in a hot place, the temperature of the main unit may become high. Please use it in a place where the temperature is between 5 and 35 degrees.
- If the air inlets and outlets are blocked, the temperature of the main unit may rise. Improve airflow around affected ports.
- If the console’s temperature gets too high, it can automatically go into sleep mode to protect it.
