Noble M500 is a new supercar powered by Ford.

Noble is a British automaker that many may not be familiar with. The company is quite famous for making modern cars with extreme performance, no babysitting, and with several of the security systems you would expect from a modern car. The goal is to create a powerful old school car.

Noble recently introduced a new car called the M500, which sits below the flagship car called the M600. The new M500 is described as being less extreme than its older sibling, while still being driver-focused. The car promises great handling, but with what Noble calls a less “intuitive” driving experience than the M600.

The M500 uses a powerplant that we will be familiar with; Ford’s 3.5-litre twin-turbo engine mounted in the midsection of a Ford GT. Reports indicate that the engine will make about 550 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. That power should be enough to make the M500 perform very well. While the M600 uses a carbon fiber body, the M500 uses a fiberglass reinforced composite body draped over a tubular steel chassis. As for the price, it has not been announced, but the prototype is almost ready and the company expects to receive around £150,000.
