Last month, the new Nothing Phone 1 smartphone was released. The phone has an interesting design with a row of LEDs on the back.
The LEDs on the back of the phone are used for notifications and now we’ll find out how durable the phone is.
In the video below from JerryRigEverything, the new Nothing Phone 1 goes through a series of tests, including a scratch test, a bend test, and a burn test. Let’s find out how durable the phone is.
As you can see from the video, the phone passed the scratch test with scratches of 6 and 7 levels, which is practically the same as most phones on the market.
The Nothing phone also passed the burn test without any permanent damage to the device, and the display returned to normal after the test.
In the bending test, the device was also able to pass this test without any major damage, so overall the phone passed the durability test.
Recall that the phone is equipped with a 6.55inch OLED display with a resolution of Full HD + 2400 x 1080 pixels.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 778G mobile processor and offers a choice of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Other specs of the device include a 16megapixel frontfacing camera for video chatting and taking selfies. On the back of the device is a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
