On Disney + and Prime Video, 3 series and films we are eagerly awaiting

Even if their schedule has also been shaken by the Covid-19 pandemic, streaming platforms (SVoD) continue to release new original films and series each month.

The catalog of Netflix, Prime Video, Disney +, myCanal and others therefore continue to grow and we await several programs with a certain impatience.

Three series and films scheduled for the coming weeks and months particularly caught our attention. Here is why they are promising.

What movies and series are we looking forward to on Disney + and Prime Video?

A promising action movie: Without any remorse

A US Special Forces soldier is renowned for his flawless effectiveness in the field. But very quickly, the young man knows a little too much for his own good. To silence him, his enemies attack him at his home and his pregnant wife is murdered.

By trying to take revenge at all costs, he will bring to light a large-scale plot and embark on a fight that is beyond him.

Why we are waiting impatiently

After adapting Jack ryan, Amazon Prime Video continues its exploration of the world of novelist Tom Clancy with another character: John Kelly. Overseas covert operations, CIA and international conspiracy, the recipe remains the same and the trailers of Without any remorse promise a breathtaking and eventful film.

Behind the camera, we find the excellent tandem Taylor Sheridan (script) and Stefano Sollima (director). They had made a strong impression with Sicario the war of the cartels. What gives hope for a story without false note coupled with an effective staging.

The other real pleasure of this film could be to see the charismatic Michael B. Jordan in the skin of a tortured and raging man. This elite soldier wants his revenge and will stop at nothing to achieve it.

There will be action in Without any remorse, a lot of action, and the hero of Creed will have the opportunity to do battle with his enemies. And since it’s been a while since we’ve seen a real good movie like this, let’s hope this one is a game-changer.

April 30 on Amazon Prime Video.

A new galactic animated series: Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Composed of clones genetically different from those of the Army of the Republic, the Bad Batch squad is an elite troop that does not shy away from any mission. But when the Empire prepares to replace the Republic, it will have to choose its camp.

Why we are waiting impatiently

If the latest films Star wars have left many fans skeptical, if not disappointed, Disney + series like The Mandalorian or the last season of Clone Wars were more popular.

And that’s good, since it’s in the mind of Clone Wars that we will soon find the Bad Batch squadron. Indeed, the first glimpses of the series show us that it fully assumes its filiation with Clone Wars, while offering a spectacle that seems even more ambitious.

Disney also shows its desire to expand the universe Star wars beyond the age-old Jedi vs. Sith by taking an interest in other characters in the galaxy. In The Bad Batch; it is about a troop of clone soldiers which makes think of a “subtle” mixture between Rambo and The All Risks Agency.

Epic battles, space clashes, stories of honor and betrayal, impromptu encounters … Star Wars: The Bad Batch could well bring together all the ingredients of a new series Star wars successful. We can’t wait to watch the first episodes.

From May 04 on Disney +.

The Latest Original Marvel Creation: Loki

Now freed from his half-brother Thor following the events ofAvengers: Endgame, Loki is free, or almost. Problem: his escape upset the course of time.

Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson), head of the Time Variance Authority, will therefore serve him and ask him to put things back in order by repairing the temporal flows.

But the God of Mischief has more than one trick up his sleeve. We can count on him not to let himself be manipulated and take his “employers” by train.

Why we are waiting impatiently

Loki, played by the brilliant Tom Hiddleston, is back and he risks playing some bad tricks. The “most really” villain of Marvel Studios returns in a series dedicated to his person whose plot takes place after his escape fromAvengers: Endgame. It didn’t take more to arouse our curiosity.

Thor’s brother is going to have to work for the Time Variance Authority, an organization responsible for keeping history in its place. Loki turned the weather upside down by running away with the Tesseract and he’s going to have to correct the disturbances himself.

That’s about all we know about the series today and the trailer doesn’t provide more answers. There would be a team responsible for monitoring Loki, different versions of the God of Mischief … But the role of the latter is still rather obscure, just like his own intentions … In short, the mystery remains.

The icing on the cake, Owen Wilson plays Loki’s “boss” at TVA, Mobius M. Mobius. But who is he really? Answer in June on Disney +.

From June 11 on Disney +.
