Charming Series: Key and Lock – Season 3

Synopsis

The Locke family finds new magical keys in the Key House, and a threat looms over Matheson, much more dangerous than the previous ones.

Opinion

The third and final season of Locke & Key drops today on Netflix and takes us on an exciting adventure with the Locke family. The program includes new keys with extraordinary powers, the return of familiar faces and the arrival of a new antagonist determined to cause trouble in the Key House. In short, here we have a final volley of episodes that deals with the codes of what constitutes the effectiveness and interest of Locke and Key, and we allow ourselves to be pleasantly carried away by this last part of the journey with the Lockes.

The magic of Locke & Key is at work again for these last eight episodes of the series, even if the redundancy is slightly pointed with the tip of the nose and makes us understand that this is perhaps no worse than the series ends before switching to replay. We always follow the adventures of Bode, Tyler and Kinsey with great pleasure, and the splendor of Key House still has little effect.

At the end of this final season, Locke & Key has a satisfying conclusion that shouldn’t disappoint fans of the series. As for those who have just discovered the series, now they can watch three seasons in a few days and will undoubtedly fall under the spell of the Lockes and their magic keys.

Fun series: My name is Groot

Synopsis

In this series of short films, Baby Groot finds himself at the center of an adventure that takes him to the four corners of the galaxy, where he attracts as much fame as trouble.

Opinion

Five short episodes of “My Name Is Groot” will delight young and old, and especially fans of the young guardian of the galaxy. Mixing humor and tenderness, this first wave of short films focusing on Groot’s adventures when he was still a young bush is pretty funny without being transcendent. It’s all done in about twenty minutes, so don’t expect to spend a long evening here in the Guardians of the Galaxy universe, but that doesn’t make it bad.

The animation of the series is successful and takes us both to the unexplored corners of the universe and to the cellars of the Star-Lord ship. Marvel and Baby Groot fans will enjoy his mini-adventures, wishing they lasted a little longer.

After all, My Name Is Groot is a series of short films that make you smile, albeit a bit anecdotal. We expect the next iteration of the episodes in the near future to see if the series can stand out on the Disney+ platform or not.

Fascinating series: Serpent

Synopsis

The true story of Charles Sobhraj and his partner Marie-André Leclerc as they travel through Thailand, Nepal and India between 1975 and 1976, committing a series of murders along the way.

Opinion

Fans of “true crime” and other programs about serial killers will find their account in the “Snake”. This mini-series details both the misdeeds committed by its protagonist and the Dutch diplomat’s attempt to bring him to justice. Tahar Rahim is great as Charles Sobhraj and the rest of the cast is just as fair and convincing.

With its delightful ’70s vibe and desire for an end to this unsettling story, The Serpent manages to keep viewers on their toes for eight episodes.

If the chronology of the narrative may seem a little chaotic and confusing, then the script of the series as a whole is well-complex, despite being somewhat lengthy. In short, a mini-series worth watching, even if its pace may put some people off.
