Note that the recommended values may ensure that the games run smoothly. If you still consider the minimum values, you may experience slowdown or poor display issues with some more demanding games.

The first step is to download the emulator, but also the BIOS. You will find the emulator on its official website. In particular, you will find in the navigation menu ” Download »The file that corresponds to your operating system. Likewise, it’s always in this menu, in the “Tools” section you will find the BIOS Dumper.
The next step is to launch the installation file. In particular, you must follow the various steps up to the dialog box inviting you to select the language. Indeed, before going any further, you must go through another step. Specifically, you must unzip the BIOS file and place the files in the “BIOS” folder, which you will find in the “PCSX2” folder of “Your documents”. After this step, you can continue by clicking on “Next” after choosing your language.
You then access the configuration of the emulator. For now, choose to follow the default settings, except in the BIOS selection window, where it is better to choose the option “Europe”. Then click on “Finish” and “Close”. That’s it, you can play a PS2 game on your computer, by launching Pcsx2 and inserting the game disc.
